The Journalism Trust Initiative (JTI) is an international project launched by Reporters Without Borders (RSF) that aims to increase trust in the media by establishing transparent performance standards. The basis of JTI is the standard CWA No.17493:2019, developed in cooperation with the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). This standard provides clear criteria for evaluating the responsibility and reliability of journalistic activity, in particular, through the definition of transparency of editorial processes, sources of funding and adherence to ethical principles.
