The Executive Committee of the Mykolaiv City Council plans to purchase 4 electric cars for almost ₴4 million

The Executive Committee of the Mykolaiv City Council plans to spend 3 million 967 thousand 532 hryvnias on the purchase of new electric cars.

This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system ProZorro, writes «NіkVesti».

The executive committee announced a tender for the purchase of four MG 4 STD passenger electric cars. Based on this, the expected cost of one car is 991 thousand 908 hryvnias.

According to the tender documents, the car must be produced in white no earlier than 2023. The characteristics of the car also include:

— steering wheel and front seat heating;

— 7-inch virtual instrument panel;

— central touch display of 10.25 inches;

— traffic jam assistance system;

— adaptive cruise control;

— intelligent speed assistant;

— rear parktronic;

— engine start with a button and keyless entry.

The winner of the tender must deliver cars to the customer by December 15 of this year. The car warranty must be at least 7 years or 150,000 kilometers.

We will remind you that in Mykolaiv on October 19, at the request of servicemen of one of the brigades, the city purchased diesel equipment. The cars were purchased as part of the city's program to promote Mykolaiv's defense and mobilization readiness.

To date, Mykolaiv has already provided almost 700 million hryvnias in aid to the Defense Forces. Next up are cars for AFU and MDIU.

As you know, the publication «Our Money» analyzed the purchases of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration for the reconstruction of the water supply in Mykolaiv with a total cost of 836 million hryvnias, and stated that the prices were inflated by 2-3 times. Reacting to this publication, the head of Mykolayiv OVA Vitaliy Kim said that he would account for every penny spent and urged «do not believe bad news». Commenting on this investigation, the Department of Urban Planning, Architecture, Capital Construction and Support of Development Projects of OVA stated that the prices indicated in the tender fully correspond to reality.

However, three weeks ago, the head of the Mykolaiv region held a briefing, at which he thanked the journalists and confirmed the fact that the contractor had inflated the price. He noted that during the analysis of the cost, it was found that the contractor included inflation in the prices not only this year, but also the next, and therefore the amount of the tender will decrease.

We will also remind you that the Department of Architecture of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration concluded 27 direct contracts for the development of design and estimate documents and the carrying out of capital repairs of public institutions with a company that has been in existence for less than six months and is owned by a member of the public council of the region on restoration issues within a month.
