Residents of households in the Mykolayiv region, which were left without heating as a result of Russian aggression, can receive compensation for solid or liquid fuel.
Maksym Kashuba, the head of the Mykolayiv district military administration, told about this during the briefing, the correspondent of NikVesti reports.
As you know, Mykolayiv DVA is currently preparing to purchase firewood to provide households with fuel during the heating season, but so far there is no corresponding money in the budget.
Maksym Kashuba told how the people of Mykolaiv should act if it is still not possible to purchase firewood. Thus, according to him, residents can apply to social security facilities and receive compensation for self-purchased fuel during the heating season.
— During the entire war, we have never postponed social payments, and the package of social payments includes such an item as compensation for liquid and solid fuel. That is, people can apply to social security agencies and receive what is provided for them by law, — he said.
We will remind, earlier the head of the Mykolayiv Oblast Vitalii Kim reported that the Mykolayiv region is 86% ready for the upcoming heating season, which was supposed to start in October.
As you know, in Mykolaiv CHP has once again dug up Mariupolska Street to replace 300 meters of pipe — the work is promised to be completed before the beginning of the heating season.
We will remind that, according to the mayor of the city Oleksandr Sienkevych, the previous heating season was difficult, but we managed to cope with all emergency situations.
Earlier it was reported that 11 tons of equipment from Denmark were delivered to Ukraine for the establishment of water supply and heating in Mykolaiv.
It is worth noting that Mykolaivoblteploenerho signed acts of readiness for the heating season for only 19 apartment buildings. A total of 1,247 buildings are serviced by the enterprise.
It was previously reported that as of October of this year, Mykolaivoblteploenerho will need 455 million hryvnias to repay the debt between the approved and economically justified tariff.
We will remind, in July of this year, «Ukrenergo», together with the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Finance, signed two agreements with the World Bank on the allocation of grant aid to the company in the amount of 240 million to increase the reliability of the energy system.
It should be noted that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision to ensure the unchanged heat tariffs for the population in the new heating season.
Earlier it was reported that the worst situation in Ukraine with preparations for the new heating season is in the border regions with Russia, as well as in the front-line territories. In Mykolaiv, the situation is more or less stable.
In addition, the United Nations has launched an initiative to raise $268 million to support Ukraine during the heating season.
