Compensation and benefits are the money and relief that the state or the city provides to people who have lost their homes, property or income. Residents of Mykolaiv Oblast have filed more than 11,500 claims for damaged or destroyed housing, and as of July 2026 they had been awarded ₴2.8 billion. Mykolaiv City Council extended the land tax relief for affected businesses until the end of the war.
