Agricultural producers of the Mykolayiv region, who suffered losses after flooding due to an explosion at the Kakhovka HPP, received compensation from the state in the amount of 1.5 billion hryvnias.
This was said by the head of Mykolayiv RMA during the press conference, NikVesti writes.
In general, in 2023, the volume of production increased by 30% compared to 2022.
«This is understandable, because a lot happened in 2022. Loans for the possibility of resuming work were granted to 450 manufacturers in the total amount of 2.1 billion hryvnias. Separately, 1.5 billion hryvnias were provided for loans for agricultural producers under the «5-7-9%» program,» Vitalii Kim said.
In addition, another 360 citizens received compensation after the flooding in the amount of 11.9 million hryvnias.
We will remind you that in June 2023, the preliminary amount of losses from crop loss in the Mykolaiv region due to the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP amounted to 20 million hryvnias.
In August, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the procedure for providing a one-time payment to residents of Kherson region and Mykolaiv region who lost their crops due to the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP.
