Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych believes that the state auditors, who accused the Mykolaivelectrotrans utility company of wasting money on shelters, acted unprofessionally and damaged the city's reputation in the eyes of foreign partners.
He said this in an interview with TRC «MART», «NikVesti» writes.
The mayor also announced that the utility company won one of the courts against the auditors.
— The State Audit Service enters the «Mykolaivelectrotrans» enterprise and immediately after leaving it begins to publish that «losses were caused by the enterprise, stolen» and so on. This, of course, is spread by everyone, and our partners ask: «And how so?». As a matter of fact, there are several cases in court today. And the first-instance court on «Mykolaivelectrotrans» fuel won. Of course, the State Audit Service can file an appeal. But I believe that when the guilt is proven, there is information not just from the mass media, but there are proven facts, then it is necessary to talk about it, and not when someone suspected something, — said Oleksandr Senkevych.
The mayor emphasized that the actions of the State Audit Service affected the reputation of Mykolaiv in the eyes of partners.
— All this is done very unprofessionally. The head of the regional State Audit Service comes out, names some figures that did not exist in reality. Names a figure, although in reality, two times less money was used from the budget for procurement. Sometimes it's better to chew than talk. Therefore, let them do their work and remember that they are not an information agency, but an audit body, which must carry out the work scrupulously, bring it to a logical end, and then talk about the results, — summed up the mayor.
It will be recalled that the head of the Southern Office of the State Audit Service in the Mykolaiv Region, Denys Yakovlev, stated that the utility company «Mykolaivelectrotrans» allegedly paid more than 30 million for the installation of shelters at bus stops, although storage facilities worth 15.3 million were installed.
Also in May of this year, the State Audit Service stated that «Mykolaivelectrotrans» overpaid for mobile bomb shelters at public transport stops by 5 million 834 thousand 270 hryvnias.
The utility company «Mykolaivelectrotrans» assured that they did not allow violations of 5.8 million hryvnias during the purchase of mobile bomb shelters at public transport stops. The director of the enterprise Yuriy Smetana believes that the auditors provided such conclusions specifically to discredit the local and regional authorities.
«Mykolaivelectrotrans» called the statements of the Southern Office of the State Audit Service in the Mykolaiv region about the transfer of 30 million hryvnias to the contractor for shelter stops called manipulative.
It should be noted that according to open sources, «Mykolaivelectrotrans» concluded a contract with the contractor LLC «IBF «Elitmeister» for the amount of 15 million 338 thousand 142 hryvnias and 40 kopecks. This amount was transferred to the enterprise for 14 shelters.
Initially, it was planned to install 34 storage facilities. However, after the liberation of the right-bank Kherson Oblast, the intensity of shelling of Mykolaiv decreased significantly, so the need for additional shelters disappeared. Moreover, according to open data, «Mykolaivelectrotrans» did not announce bids and did not conclude contracts for the purchase of storage facilities.
At the same time, representatives of the Southern Office of the State Audit Service twice failed to appear at the budget commission of the Mykolaiv City Council, where they discussed the situation with the utility company «Mykolaivelectrotrans» regarding shelters.
