The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, will present the Victory Plan aimed at forcing Russia to peace at a special meeting of the European Council. Meetings with key European leaders are also planned.
This is stated on the website of the Office of the President.
«Now we are on our way to Brussels. There will be a special meeting of the European Council. At the level of leaders. I will present the Victory Plan — our tool for forcing Russia to make peace. All European leaders will hear how we need to strengthen our positions. We need to end this war justly,» he said in his video message.
As you know, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has scheduled meetings with the President of the European Council Charles Michel, the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metzola, and the heads of political groups in the European Parliament. There will be a meeting with Mark Rutte and NATO Secretary General.
We will remind that on Wednesday, October 16, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented his Victory Plan in the Verkhovna Rada, which consists of five points and three secret annexes and provides for an invitation to NATO, strengthening of defense and containment of Russian aggression.
The head of the parliamentary faction «Servant of the People» David Arakhamiia considers the Victory Plan presented by the President to be a detailed document designed for the present period and the time of post-war reconstruction.
And the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitalii Kim, said that despite the strengthening of mobilization measures, conscripted men do not go to serve due to low motivation.
«Today, the president (Volodymyr Zelenskyy, — note) presented the Victory Plan. I believe that if we have a clear Victory Plan approved, we will understand that we have the opportunity to win in specific terms, then people will increase significantly. Because it's simply the fatigue of people in the information field, including the Russian IPSO,» Vitalii Kim added.
Earlier, The Times journalists published four points of the Victory Plan, which Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented to US President Joe Biden. However, the President's Office stated that they did not inform journalists of this information.
It should be noted that in September, Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the US presidential candidate Donald Trump in New York and presented the Victory Plan.
During the meeting, politicians discussed in detail the general situation in Ukraine, the consequences of the war for Ukrainians and the economy. A separate focus of the conversation is the constant shelling of cities and civilian infrastructure by the Russian Federation and the role of American Patriot systems in protecting people's lives.
