Yermak: Elections in Ukraine will be held immediately after the end of the war

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy intends to hold elections immediately after the end of the war.

This was stated by the head of the President's Office Andrii Yermak in an interview with the Italian publication Corriere Della Sera.

According to him, Volodymyr Zelenskyy wants military personnel and refugees abroad to be able to participate in the vote. However, now all resources should be directed to Ukraine's military needs.

«Immediately after the end of the war. Zelenskyy spoke very clearly on this matter. He wants all soldiers, as well as refugees abroad, to be able to vote. But now the resources should be directed to military needs,» he said.

We will remind that as of September 2024, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaly Kim, has 46% of the trust rating of Ukrainians among politicians. He is second after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose rating was 51%.

Previously, the results of a survey by KMIS showed that the level of trust in the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, remained unchanged from May 2024. According to the study, 59% of Ukrainians trust the head of state, while 37% do not.
