In the de-occupied Mykolaiv Oblast, the bridge with a length of over 80 meters was restored in 5 months

An 84-meter-long bridge crossing over the Ingulets River was built in the Horohiv community of the Mykolaiv region in five months.

This was reported in the Mykolayiv OSA.

The direction is one of the main routes connecting the Mykolaiv Oblast and the Kherson Oblast. The opening of the bridge took place on Tuesday, October 10.

Its restoration was made possible with the cooperation of United24.

«It is already a good tradition to meet in the Mykolaiv region and open bridges. Thank you to the servicemen for working in our region in such a short time, this is a record. Thanks to United24 and AVT «Bavaria» for their support. The construction of this bridge not only improved communication between communities, but also created an alternative route to roads of state importance,» — said Vitaliy Kim, the head of Mykolayiv OSA, who was present at the opening.

General Director of JSC «Bavaria Ukraine» Eric Berning, who is a United24 donor, emphasized that the courage of Ukrainians inspires partners to provide even greater assistance in rebuilding the destroyed infrastructure.

We will remind you that in August in the Mykolaiv Oblast, road workers began to rebuild the destroyed bridge over the railway on the Kalynivka — Snihurivka road.

The State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure noted that a total of 6 bridges were destroyed in the Mykolaiv region. In 2023, two bridges near the de-occupied Snihurivka in Mykolaiv Oblast are planned to be overhauled. The cost of the works is 300 million 792 thousand 500 hryvnias.
