Mykolaiv region signed three memorandums with partners for housing and energy projects at the conference in Kyiv

As part of the First International Conference «Mykolaiv — a City on the Wave», which is being held in Kyiv, Mykolaiv region signed three memorandums of cooperation aimed at the restoration and development of the city and the region.
The memorandums cover various aspects of life support and infrastructural recovery, reported NikVesti.
The first memorandum was signed by the head of Mykolaiv RMA Vitalii Kim with the Leroy Merlin Solidarity Charitable Foundation. The second memorandum was signed by the mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkevych with the same organization Leroy Merlin Solidarity.
The documents provide for joint work on projects for the arrangement and construction of housing, temporary accommodation for residents who need housing, as well as social facilities, such as kindergartens, schools, boarding facilities, etc.
The third memorandum was signed between the Mykolaiv City Council and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). Within the framework of this agreement, the supply of seven cogeneration plants is provided, which allow the simultaneous production of thermal and electrical energy.
Conference «Mykolaiv — a City on the Wave» in Kyiv
On October 31, Kyiv hosts the first international conference «Mykolaiv — a City on the Wave», organized with the support of the EU, UNDP and the Kingdom of Denmark. The conference is focused on discussing the prospects for recovery and development of Mykolaiv, taking into account the realities of war.
At the event, representatives of the city authorities, in particular the mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkevych and the head of Mykolaiv OVA Vitaly Kim, presented strategic plans for the reconstruction of the city, including the Master Plan, the concept of the «blue economy» and ecological development projects. The main goal of the conference is to attract investments.
