This was stated by the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitalii Kim, on the air of the telethon «Yedyni Novyny».
As you know, after the nighttime Russian shelling on 13 December, hourly electricity supply schedules in Mykolaiv region are not in effect.
«Currently, the hourly outage schedules are not in effect: power engineers are restoring power supply and carrying out technical work. Therefore, there are no clear outage schedules yet, and the region is in reconnection mode,» said Vitalii Kim.
According to him, heating is currently being supplied throughout the region.
«The heat supply is 100%. Apart from 26 buildings, there are technical problems due to the attack and we are in the process of restoring them. In principle, we have a positive temperature, but heating is still being supplied in a regular mode throughout the region,» added Vitalii Kim.
Shelling of Mykolaiv region on 13 December: what is known
At night and in the early hours of 13 December, Russian troops attacked critical and industrial infrastructure in Mykolaiv and the region. As a result of the shelling, settlements in the Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts were left without electricity.
Later it became known that five people were injured in the Russian attack on 13 December in Mykolaiv. Critical and industrial infrastructure and the private sector were damaged.
According to Vitalii Kim, three people were hospitalised — a 43-year-old man, a 48-year-old woman and a 16-year-old teenager. They are in moderate condition. Two more people were treated on an outpatient basis.
Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych added that it was one of the most massive attacks in Mykolaiv and the region in recent times.
As of the morning of 14 December, it became known that three private houses in Mykolaiv had been destroyed as a result of a massive combined Russian attack, and 78 other houses were damaged.
Subsequently, the director of the utility company «Mykolaivoblteploenergo», Mykola Lohvinov, said that boiler houses with a large number of consumers had been operating for five hours during the power outages, and then were shut down for another five hours.
In two days, the utility company «Mykolaivoblteploenergo» purchased 24 tonnes of diesel fuel for generators that keep the city's critical infrastructure running during power outages. In addition, Lohvinov added that despite the «large team, there are still not enough people», as each generator must be monitored during start-up and operation.
