The single tax for the first half of 2024 in Mykolaiv amounted to 341.5 million hryvnias, which is 44.98% more compared to 2022, when it was possible to collect 471.1 million hryvnias in tax for the whole year.
This is stated in the reports published on the website of the Mykolaiv City Council, NikVesti writes.
Compared to the first half of 2023, when 245.4 million hryvnias were collected, 2024 will see an increase of 39%. This increase follows a slight decrease in 2022 compared to 2021, when the tax reached 517 million hryvnias.
In 2023, an increase of 14.45% was recorded compared to 2022, which indicates a gradual recovery of the city budget. This growth is likely the result of stabilizing business activity despite the impact of full-scale war.
We will remind, for the first half of 2024, the budget of Mykolaiv received 662 thousand hryvnias of tourist tax, which is 77% more than for the same period of 2023.
