The tax hike law will go into effect on December 1, 2024, not today as reported the day before.

This was announced by the chairman of the tax committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danylo Hetmantsev.

«A sleepless night is the result — the resource law will enter into force on December 1, 2024. It will be published accordingly on November 30. Common sense won. We will consider it a typographical error,» he wrote.

In turn, People's Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak wrote that the publication of the law was postponed due to publicity.

«The publication of the law on the increase has been withdrawn or postponed, in short, it will be published now only tomorrow, November 30, and will come into force as planned on December 1. Thanks to everyone who participated. In particular, to the head of the committee,» wrote the People's Deputy.

He noted that until December 1, the military levy is calculated as it was: 1.5%.

We will remind that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, signed the Law No. 11416-d on the historic tax increase.
