Pupils of older groups, aged from 6 to 11 years, will also experience a change in the cost of meals. For them, the price for one day will increase by 35%, from 126.30 hryvnias to 170.60 hryvnias.

The largest increase in the cost of meals will affect students aged 14 to 18. For them, the price of food will increase by 25.1%, from 174.80 hryvnias to 218.70 hryvnias per day.

However, the cost of meals will not change for students of vocational and technical educational institutions. For orphans on full state maintenance, food will remain at the level of 115.20 hryvnias per day, for orphans under care or from low-income families — 46.10 hryvnias.

We will remind that at the meeting of the city commission, the deputy of the Mykolaiv City Council Dmytro Sichko said that many children in the city refuse to eat dishes prepared according to the new menu developed by Yevhen Klopotenko. According to him, children do not eat meals because they do not contain enough salt, sugar and butter, which makes the food tasteless.

After that, Mykolaiv City Council Deputy Tetiana Dombrovska from the «Servant of the People» party reacted to her colleague's statement. In the comment of NikVesti, she stated that she would like to personally check the quality of food in school canteens in Mykolaiv.
