In 2025, 940 new businesses were registered in Mykolaiv region, and the number of jobs increased by 4.7%.

This was reported by Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, in an interview with «News.Live».

According to him, in 2025, 940 enterprises changed their registration to Mykolaiv region from other regions. We also managed to create 11,000 new jobs, which is an increase of 4.7%.

«I can say that in 2025, 940 enterprises changed their registration to Mykolaiv region from other regions. Also, thanks to the programmes involved, we managed to increase the number of jobs by 4.7%, which was the first such figure in many years. We created 11,000 new jobs thanks to programmes from international partners and investors. These are temporary anti-crisis programmes. I hope that we will continue this trend in order to create jobs,» said Vitalii Kim.

As a reminder, in 2026, the State Tax Service plans to conduct 73 business audits in Mykolaiv region. Overall, the number of planned inspections in Ukraine is 4,558, which is almost 5% less than last year.

For comparison, the tax service plans to conduct 246 business inspections in Odesa region, which is more than three times higher than in Mykolaiv.

The tax authorities are expected to be most active in the spring, in March and April. However, at the beginning of the year, the number of inspections will be the lowest and amount to 278 across the country.
