The police opened a case on the fact of the night rocket shelling of Mykolaiv

Investigators are investigating criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine «Violation of the Laws and Customs of War» over the fact of the night rocket attack on Mykolaiv.

This was reported in the Main Department of the National Police in the Mykolaiv region.

Police officers are working at the scene of the events after the shelling — the area has been cordoned off and traffic has been blocked. Investigators record the consequences of war crimes, and also provide assistance to citizens.

We will remind that the Russians hit the city around 02:30 in advance with missiles of the S-300 type. The arrivals were recorded in several areas, where an infrastructure object, a restaurant complex, trade pavilions, residential buildings and cars were damaged. There were also fires that were extinguished by rescuers.

As a result of the shelling, a woman died, 16 local residents were injured of varying degrees of severity.
