It is planned to build a new cogeneration station worth over ₴21 million in Voznesensk

In Voznesensk, Mykolaiv Oblast, the construction of a block-modular cogeneration station is underway, which will provide backup power supply for the pumping station in the event of a lack of electricity from the network. The total cost of the project is 21 million 751 thousand 771 hryvnias.

The relevant tender was published in the ProZorro public procurement system, reported NikVesti.

According to the tender documents, the new Jenbacher cogeneration plant of the JMC 320 GS-BL type will have an electrical capacity of 1,067 kW and a thermal capacity of 647 kW. It will work autonomously, under the command of the operator, providing reliable heat supply through the existing boiler room.

For safety and efficiency, modern auxiliary equipment is provided, including heat exchangers, circulation pumps and a hermetic tank for the coolant with anti-corrosion properties.

Submission of tender offers will continue until November 4.

The construction of the station will continue until mid-March 2025, and the completion of commissioning works is scheduled for April.

Heating season-2024/25 in Mykolaiv?

During the conference on the recovery of Ukraine in Berlin in June 2024, the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, reported to the chairman of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Oleksii Chernyshov, how the city is preparing for the start of the heating season.

Oleksii Chernyshov himself, in the comment NikVesti, promised to monitor that Mykolaiv CHP was ready for the heating season this year.

Later, the mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said that at the start of the heating season in 2024, Mykolayiv CHP will take into account all last year's mistakes.

At the same time, it became known that the new heat network along Pohranychna Street in Mykolaiv will not have time to be built before the beginning of the 2024-2025 heating season due to a lack of funds. However, the director of Mykolaiv thermal power plant Dmytro Myroshnychenko assured that the workers will have time to complete these works.

And Mykolaiv CHP plans to complete all work on replacing worn-out networks by October 20.

Mykolaivoblteploenergo director Mykola Lohvinov said that the company's new tariff policy will provide for the introduction of a constant subscription fee throughout the year, and during the heating season, the population will have to pay additionally for the supply of heating medium to their homes.

The enterprise also emphasized the critically low level of preparation of networks of residential buildings by management companies. Only 8% of buildings received certificates of system readiness.

As of September 2, infrastructure facilities in the Mykolaiv Region were 78% prepared for the new heating season. And at the end of September, Mykolaivoblteploenergo reported that it was 90% ready for the heating period.
