As a result of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 2,270 children were injured. Of which 589 died, 1681 were injured.

This was reported in the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

The most affected children were in Donetsk region — 598, Kharkiv — 459, Kherson — 187, Dnipropetrovsk — 190, Zaporizhzhia — 154, Kyiv — 133, Mykolaiv — 117.

10 children were injured in the last few days alone. In particular, on November 11, as a result of shelling in Kryvyi Rih, boys aged 2 and 10 and a 2-month-old girl were killed, and an 11-year-old boy was wounded. On the same day, five children were injured in Zaporizhzhia: boys aged 4, 16 and 17 and two girls aged 15 and 17. A 16-year-old teenager was injured in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region.

Night shelling of Mykolaiv on November 11

The first sounds of explosions in Mykolaiv began to be heard around 1:40 am. The Air Force reported that there was an enemy drone in the city. As of 2:36 a.m., the authorities said that the shelling caused several fires in residential buildings. At that time, it was reported that four people were killed as a result of a drone attack on Mykolaiv.

In the morning, Mykolaiv rescuers unblocked the body of another dead person. The number of dead has increased to five. At 06:24, the search and rescue operation was completed.

Due to the nighttime shelling, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, reported a breakdown of the heating network in the city, due to which there is a disconnection from the heating and gas supply.

Also, in Mykolaiv and the region, emergency shutdown schedules were introduced after night shelling. As of this morning, there are six queues of consumers without electricity.

Mykolaiv law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings due to the night shelling of Mykolaiv on November 11, as a result of which five civilians were killed.

Tuesday, November 12, was declared the Day of Mourning in Mykolaiv for those who died as a result of the drone attack on the city on the night of November 11.
