Andrii Morara, an official of the State Migration Service in the Odesa region, was accused of falsely declaring property worth more than 83 million hryvnias, including luxury real estate and a car.

According to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, during the inspection from March 25 to September 19, 2023, it was found that the official's declaration did not include data on a house with an area of 200 square meters and a land plot of 637 square meters in Odesa.

In addition, his wife's apartment with an area of more than 48 square meters, his mother's real estate, including a garage in Zatoka, an office, a shop and a plot of land in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, are not listed. Also, a 2021 Audi RS Q8 purchased in 2023.

NAZK qualified such actions as a criminal violation. The official faces a fine of 51,000 to 86,000 hryvnias, 150–240 hours of community service, or up to two years in prison. In addition, the court can prohibit holding certain positions for a period of up to three years.

It will be recalled that in Poltava region, a former employee of the State Treasury Service indicated in the declaration more than 60 million dollars, precious metals and jewels. Investigators are checking the legality of the origin of these assets, in particular investigating possible connections with relatives who hold positions in Russia.
