Man throws airsoft grenade into cafe in Mykolaiv: he faces 5 years in prison

In Mykolaiv, police used the «Safe City» system to identify a man who threw a strike grenade into a cafe after a conflict with staff.
According to the Main Department of the National Police in Mykolaiv region, the incident occurred in the evening of 5 January. None of the visitors or employees were injured in the explosion. The grenade fragments were seized for examination.
The suspect was a 34-year-old resident of Odesa region. After the incident, he changed his hairstyle and shaved his beard. The suspect is currently charged with hooliganism and faces up to five years in prison.
As a reminder, law enforcement officers in Mykolaiv region detained two residents of Kherson who are suspected of detonating a grenade in the yard of a private house. The men face up to seven years in prison.
