A grenade was thrown into the yard of a house in Kobleve: the suspects were detained and sent to custody

Law enforcement officers in the Mykolaiv region have detained two residents of Kherson, who are suspected of detonating a grenade in the yard of a private house. The men face up to seven years in prison.

As reported by the National Police, no one was injured as a result of the incident that occurred on December 4 in the village of Kobleve, Mykolaiv region. The car of the owners of the house suffered mechanical damage.

During the search operation, police traced the suspects' routes, collected evidence, and located them. One of them was detained in Kyiv, the other in Odesa.

During the searches, police seized vehicles, bottles of flammable liquid, and other evidence of the crime.

The men are suspected of hooliganism, for which they face up to seven years in prison. The court has already chosen a preventive measure — detention without bail.

We remind you that law enforcement officers seized a plastic bottle with fuel residues and fragments of explosives from the scene. According to preliminary findings of the explosives service, an F-1 grenade was thrown into the yard, the remains of which were sent for expert examination.
