Russians attacked facilities of Naftogaz: gas production network damaged

Russian troops shelled the facilities of the Naftogaz group. The company noted that this is the 18th combined attack on infrastructure since the start of the full-scale war.

According to Naftogaz, there were no casualties, but gas production facilities were damaged.

«The latest shelling is not just an attack on our infrastructure, but an attempt to undermine the country's energy stability. Our experts are already working on the aftermath and damage assessment. Restoration will begin immediately to ensure uninterrupted gas supply. I am grateful to the Naftogaz team and all power engineers who prove every day that the Ukrainian energy system is able to withstand any challenges», the statement said.

As a reminder, on Wednesday, 26 March, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development approved a loan of up to €270 million for Naftogaz of Ukraine to purchase gas for the next two heating seasons in Ukraine.
