The head of the Mykolaiv Employment Centre has declared his wife’s new Lexus and ₴200,000 in cash

In 2025, Dmytro Oboronko, Director of the Mykolaiv Regional Employment Centre, purchased a 2019 Lexus ES 250 worth 1.2 million hryvnias.

This is evidenced by the declaration submitted to the NACP’s register of declarations for 2025, NikVesti reports.

The car was purchased in February 2025. The vehicle’s owner is listed as the official’s wife, Maria Davydova, but it is Dmytro Oboronko himself who uses it. In their previous declaration, the family declared a 2015 Lexus IS250, which, according to the declaration, the family has sold.

At his main place of work at the Mykolaiv Regional Employment Centre, Dmytro Oboronko received 889,585 hryvnias in salary. This is 180,036 hryvnias more than the previous year, when his salary stood at 709,500 hryvnias.

On average, the director of the employment centre earned around 74,100 hryvnias per month.

By comparison, in 2024 he received around 59,100 hryvnias per month.

In addition, he received a further 69,172 hryvnias for his part-time work as an associate professor in the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Mathematical Modelling at Mykolaiv National Agrarian University.

The official’s wife declared 221,178 hryvnias in salary from the Mykolaiv Regional Organisation of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine, as well as 415,000 hryvnias in income from the sale of a car.

Among his property holdings, Dmytro Oboronko listed a residential house with an area of 230.2 m², registered in the name of Klavdiia Oboronko, his wife’s flat with an area of 45 m² and four plots of land with a total area of over 19 hectares, which belong to the couple.

At the same time, the official’s cash savings have decreased significantly over the year. Whilst he declared 850,000 hryvnias in cash in the 2024 declaration, the figure in the 2025 declaration was 200,000 hryvnias.

It should be noted that declarations were also submitted by the heads of other municipal enterprises in the city: Ihor Holovatyi of «Pilot», Vitalii Shevchenko of «ELU Avtodorig» , Petro Vasheniak of the municipal catering enterprise for educational institutions in Mykolaiv, Yurii Smetana of Mykolaiv’s electric transport, Dmytro Chuchmai of »Mykolaiv Parks», and Viacheslav Misarenko of the «Central City Stadium» municipal enterprise.
