In Mykolaiv, the winners of the competition for the best project of reconstruction of the maternity hospital №3 into a perinatal center were determined.

Mykolaiv City Council reports this.

According to the results, three winners of the competition were chosen. The company from Kyiv, which developed the project in co-authorship with the Norwegian charitable organization «Arkitekter Uten Grenser», took the first place.

Author groups from Mykolaiv and Kharkiv took second and third place, respectively. The city council notes that the author/author team, which was awarded the first prize of the competition, receives the right to further develop project documentation for construction.

«The concepts of the participants who took the prized places envisage a multi-functional and rational space of the future perinatal center with a logical organization of departments and the necessary separation of paths that comply with construction and medical regulations,» reported the city hall.

We will remind that the registration for participation in the architectural competition for the best project of reconstruction of the maternity hospital was announced back in March 2024.
