Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán believes that Europe will not be able to finance the defense of Ukraine without the support of the United States during the presidency of Donald Trump. If the Americans stop helping Ukraine, it will become a challenge for Europe.

He said this on Friday, November 8, on public radio, Bloomberg cites.

He recalled his «peacekeeping mission» to Kyiv, Moscow and Beijing in the summer and said that recent events confirmed the conclusions of his trips.

According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, the USA is allegedly going to «withdraw» from the war, which he considers to be a losing one.

Therefore, they say, if Donald Trump decides not to support Ukraine, then Europe will not be able to independently finance such support.

«The Americans are going to get out of this war. Europe cannot finance this war on its own,» Viktor Orban said.

It will be recalled that on July 12, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held a meeting with Donald Trump, discussing the issue of «making peace» in Russia's war against Ukraine.

Also, Viktor Orban, after the meeting with Donald Trump, said that if he wins, he «will not give a penny» to protect Ukraine from the Russian invasion.

«If America does not give money, the Europeans themselves will not be able to finance this war, and then the war will end,» Viktor Orban said back in March.

He stated that the American government, the leadership of the European Union, as well as the leaders of the largest European states are «pro-war». Instead, according to him, Donald Trump, like Hungary, advocates «peace».

In addition, during the rally, Donald Trump made a complimentary statement to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, calling the Hungarian Prime Minister a «great man» and a «great leader in Europe.»
