He said this in an interview with Eurovision News.
«They have not controlled the corridor in the Black Sea for a long time. We are fighting for it because it is a step towards ending the war. We control the situation in the Black Sea. Their Black Sea part of the fleet is at the bottom or they are hidden, this is what is happening today. They are ready to agree to a ceasefire in the energy sector if it concerns energy and the Black Sea», the statement said.
At the same time, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that Russia is trying to seize the food corridor, but Ukraine will not allow it
«We were generally ready for a complete ceasefire. They just want to jump into the control of the food corridor, they will not succeed, we are absolutely sure of this», said the President.
As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the agreements on safe navigation in the Black Sea. In particular, according to him, the Ukrainian side handed over to the United States a list of strategic infrastructure facilities that cannot be attacked.
As you know, the United States, Ukraine and Russia agreed at talks in Saudi Arabia to ensure safe navigation and «exclude the use of force» in the Black Sea. This is stated in the statements on the results of the talks between the US and Ukrainian delegations in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on 25 March, which were published on the White House website.
The White House said that the United States would also help restore Russia's access to the global market for exports of agricultural products and fertilisers.
