New properties and hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash: what the leaders of the Mykolaiv City Council factions have declared

The leaders of the factions in the Mykolaiv City Council have published their declarations for 2025, detailing their savings and assets. No significant changes have been observed among the officials, but during this period some of them have purchased property.

For 2025, the councillor declared property in Mykolaiv: a catering establishment covering 1,047 square metres, a café with an outdoor terrace of 244.5 square metres and a canopy, and a flat of 31.5 square metres.

She also declared a residential house of 249.6 square metres, two plots of land measuring 5 and 710 square metres, and non-residential premises housing an art studio. The councillor leases eight plots of land from the city council.

Her husband owns three flats measuring 54.5 square metres, 34.9 square metres and 39.2 square metres.

Hanna Remennikova owns two luxury cars: a 2015 Fiat Doblo and a 2014 Mercedes-Benz. Valentyn Berestnev owns one 2017 Volvo XC 90 saloon.

Anna Remennikova’s salary as head of the Ingulsky District Administration amounted to 806,900 hryvnias, which averages 67,200 hryvnias per month.

Her husband, Valentyn Berestnev, received 196,600 hryvnias in salary last year from the Olympic Basketball Training Centre and 161,300 hryvnias in salary from the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding. He received a further 3.8 million hryvnias in income from business activities and 88,500 hryvnias in pension payments.

The couple keeps 190,000 dollars and 2.5 million hryvnias in cash.

Ramil Ahabekov, head of the Servant of the People faction

According to his 2025 declaration, Ramil Ahabekov holds joint ownership of a 54-square-metre flat in Mykolaiv. He also stated that he lives rent-free with his wife and daughter in a 159.2-square-metre residential property in Mykolaiv.

His wife owns a 2021 SUBARU LEGACY, which he uses.

Last year, Ramil Ahabekov received 976,800 hryvnias in salary for his position at the Mykolaiv District State Administration. His wife received 23,400 hryvnias in pension and 10,300 hryvnias in social benefits.

The couple keeps 810,000 hryvnias and 34,000 dollars in cash.

Head of the «European Solidarity» faction, Olena Kiseliova

In her declaration, Olena Kiseliova stated that she owns property in Mykolaiv and the Chernivtsi region.

The councillor declared an apartment and a house which she owns jointly in Mykolaiv. She also owns a 65.3-square-metre house there and three apartments: 26.4 square metres, 44.1 square metres and 39.5 square metres.

Together with her husband, Olena Kiseliova owns 12 plots of land with a total area of 137.1 square metres — all located in Mykolaiv and the region.

Her husband owns a 172-square-metre residential house in Mykolaiv, as well as a 56.3-square-metre share of a property in Chernivtsi.

In 2024, Olena Kiseliova purchased a residential house and two plots of land in the village of Ridkivtsi in the Chernivtsi region. All this property cost 614,400 hryvnias.

The councillor also declared two cars in her name: a Renault Duster and a ZAZ 110307. Her husband owns two cars: a Hyundai H-1 and a Chevrolet Aveo SF69Y. He also owns two lorries, a mini-tractor and two goods vans.

Last year, Olena Kiseliova received 3.2 million hryvnias in income from her business activities. She earned a further 146,200 hryvnias from her main job at M Motors LLC and 253,600 hryvnias from her part-time role at Chernivtsi Gravel and Sand Quarry LLC.

Her husband received 47,800 hryvnias in pension and 36,000 hryvnias in social benefits last year.

The couple keeps 460,000 dollars and 460,000 hryvnias in cash.

Independent councillor Artem Ilyuk, who was the head of the banned «Opposition Platform for Life»

Artem Iliuk has declared that he owns a 14.8-square-metre car park in Mykolaiv.

His wife owns property in Nova Odesa: a residential house of 162.8 square metres and a plot of land measuring 3,700 square metres.

The councillor also noted that he currently has the use of a 230-square-metre house in the village of Kozyn in the Kyiv region.

In terms of valuable movable property, he declared two watches: a Zenith and an Omega Seamaster. His wife owns a Rolex watch.

Last year, his wife received 814,300 hryvnias in income from entrepreneurial activities and 2.4 million hryvnias from the sale of movable property — presumably a BMW X7, which was listed in the 2024 declaration.

Artem Iliuk also received 625,000 hryvnias from the sale of movable property — presumably a Kawasaki quad bike, which was also listed in his previous declaration.

Artem Iliuk holds 266,000 dollars and 52,000 euros in cash. The councillor holds a further 8.1 million hryvnias jointly with his wife.
