US presidential candidate Donald Trump has agreed to a debate with Vice President Kamala Harris and said he is ready to meet with her more than once.

As Politico informs, the next debate, which is scheduled for September 10, should take place on the ABC News channel. In recent days, Donald Trump has insisted on holding the debate on Fox News.

However, during a call with reporters on Tuesday, Donald Trump said he would participate in a debate with Kamala Harris regardless of whether it was on ABC and said he «would be willing to have more than one debate.»

The Republican also pointed out that «the debate is important to the presidential race.»

«I think if you're a Democratic or Republican candidate, you really have an obligation to participate in the debate,» added Donald Trump.

It should be noted that as of July 23, the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris has raised $100 million since the beginning of the campaign to enter the presidential race.

It will be recalled that on Sunday, July 22, US President Joe Biden announced that he is abandoning his intention to run again for the position of head of state. He noted that he intended to seek re-election, but believes that it is in the interests of the Democratic Party and the country that he resign.

Joe Biden will serve as president of the United States until the end of his term, and will later address the nation and «describe his decision in more detail.»

It was also reported that after his recovery, US President Joe Biden plans to campaign «very aggressively» with Vice President Camilla Harris.

The US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, believes that it will be easier for him to win the election of Kamala Harris than Joe Biden.
