₴233 million allocated from Mykolaiv budget to repair roads and storm sewers in 2014

In 2024, Mykolaiv spent 233 million hryvnias on road repairs and maintenance and improvements to the stormwater system.
This is evidenced by the data of the report on the implementation of the budget of Mykolaiv in 2024, which was reviewed by journalists NikVesti.
The draft decision on approving the budget execution report states that the largest part of the funds was received by the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Mykolaiv City Council, which spent 93.1 million hryvnias. Of this amount, 10.4 million hryvnias went to pay off debts from the previous year, and 82.7 million hryvnias was spent on stormwater management, winter road maintenance, and street repairs.
The districts also carried out repair work:
• Zavodskyi district spent 20.4 million hryvnias on road repairs.
• Korabelnyi district used 49.4 million hryvnias for major and minor road repairs.
• Inhulskyi district received 35.2 million hryvnias for capital and current repairs.
• The Tsentralnyi district spent 46.2 million on current repairs of city roads.
As a reminder, in Mykolaiv, utility companies are carrying out patching repairs on Tsentralnyi and Bohoiavlenskyi avenues. The repairs are being carried out to eliminate potholes with a depth of more than 5 centimetres, which, according to DSTU standards, should be repaired within five days under favourable weather conditions.
