The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's trip to Moscow for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine emphasizes that the decision to make this trip was made by the Hungarian side without agreement or coordination with Ukraine.

«For our state, the principle of 'no agreements on Ukraine without Ukraine' remains inviolable, and we call on all states to strictly adhere to it,» the message reads.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine cannot agree to an immediate truce, because it does not trust the head of Russia's aggressor country. He emphasized that one cannot simply talk about a ceasefire, a plan is needed.

We will remind that the other day the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, suggested to the President of Ukraine to consider the possibility of a ceasefire in order to speed up peace negotiations with Russia.
