«To regulate parking»: In Mykolaiv they plan to arrange paid parking lots

Paid parking lots will be set up in Mykolaiv. Currently, the authorities do not name specific places where they will be arranged, but there will be about 25 such parking points.
Mykolaiv City Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych stated this in a comment to «NikVesti».
To prepare parking lots, Mykolaiv is taking the experience of other Ukrainian cities, says the mayor. In particular, parking meters will not be installed in parking lots, it will be possible to pay even by phone.
— This is not a quick process. We are dealing with this issue. First, we need to identify 25 paid parking spaces in order to work out the procedure. We do not follow our own procedure, we take the experience of other cities of Ukraine. We will take up this issue at the session of the city council, we will arrange the possibility of paying for parking from phones. We will not install parking meters. We follow this path not in order to receive money for parking, but in order to organize parking. That is, an inspection will be created to ensure that people park correctly, not in green zones, and park their cars correctly. I can't specify the time frame, but the work on it has started, — said Oleksandr Sienkevych.
We remind you that inspectors of the parking control department of the executive committee of the city council have started working in Voznesensk. They will monitor compliance with parking rules in the city.
