The number of patients with COVID-19 has increased significantly in Pervomaisk

In Pervomaisk, an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases was recorded. 48 people fell ill during the week.

This became known at a staff meeting in the Pervomai city council.

It is noted that there were 48 cases of COVID-19 in the previous week. Before that, 21 cases were recorded.

«Yes, according to the Ministry of Health, Ukraine has recently seen an increase in the number of cases of COVID-19. The growth of the disease is also observed in the Pervomaisk community. Last week, in the period from August 12 to 18, 2024, 48 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded by family doctors, and in the previous week — 21 cases,» the message reads.

In addition, it is noted that hospitals have already started preparing for the heating period. Networks are currently being checked and malfunctions are being repaired.

Earlier, during a visit to Mykolaiv, the president of the Ukrainian Association of Infectious Diseases, Doctor of Medical Sciences and Professor Olha Holubovska announced the possibility of a new pandemic, which could be even more dangerous than the previous ones.

We will remind that in July, Ukraine recorded a sharp increase in the number of cases of COVID-19, almost 12 thousand cases, in June there were two thousand, but the load on hospitals is not so great. Chief sanitary doctor Ihor Kuzin does not see the need to introduce restrictive measures at the moment.

In August 2024, the Ministry of Health (MOH) approved updated recommendations for vaccination against the coronavirus.
