The incidence of COVID-19 began to increase in Mykolaiv from the beginning of August. Currently, 1,140 cases of the virus have been registered in the city, and two elderly women have died.

This was reported in the Mykolaiv City Council.

The city's health department noted that the vaccine against the COVID-19 virus is currently available in every Mykolaiv hospital. To get vaccinated, you need to contact your family doctor for a referral.

«From the beginning of August, the incidence of COVID-19 began to increase, and from the middle of August we began to record mass cases. 1,140 cases of coronavirus have been registered in the city. Of them, 128 people were hospitalized, which is slightly more than 10%. Also, unfortunately, we have two fatal cases: two elderly women who have never been vaccinated,» says Olena Popova, a leading specialist in the health care department of the city council.

Earlier it was reported that in three weeks, from August 13 to September 2, 969 cases of coronavirus disease were registered, 107 people were hospitalized, among them 1 fatal case.
