Ukraine returned the bodies of 563 fallen defenders. Law enforcement officers and medical examiners will identify the dead.

This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

It is noted that it was possible to repatriate 320 bodies of defenders who died in the Donetsk direction and 89 fallen soldiers from the Bakhmut direction.

Earlier, 501 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine.

As reported, over 2,800 bodies and body fragments of military personnel have been identified in Ukraine so far.
