Ukraine's new «resilience plan» includes a policy on churches and religious organizations, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. A model of cooperation is being created to strengthen the state and spiritual independence.

In particular, the authorities plan to continue cooperation with religious communities, with the exception of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UPC MP), said Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the presentation of the plan for internal stability of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada on November 19.

He noted that the «secular character» of state institutions is preserved in Ukraine, but the government should continue to develop partnership between the state and the church, religious communities.

According to him, one of the examples of such cooperation is the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, which was created in 1996.

«Within this dialogue, we can determine which models of greater cooperation are capable of strengthening our state and all our people, our spiritual independence, and our social work in the Ukrainian state. Of course, we are not talking about the Moscow church. The time of those who sanctify terror is over,» Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.

We will remind you that according to polls, the absolute majority of Ukrainians support the ban on the activities of religious organizations that have ties to Russia.

In addition, NikVesti informed that, according to the survey, Ukrainians have different forecasts regarding the duration of the war. 57% think that the conflict will continue for a long time, and 14% hope that it will end within 6-12 months.

Also, the research data show that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to have high trust among citizens and occupy the first place in the corresponding rating. Almost all residents of the country trust them.
