Kherson region identifies list of damaged facilities to be repaired at a cost of ₴23 million

The destroyed village of Posad-Pokrovske in the Kherson region. Archive photo NikVestiA priority list of 27 facilities damaged by Russian shelling has been compiled in the Kherson region, and 23 million hryvnias will be allocated to restore them.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The regional budget will cover only 10% of the cost of developing project documentation, while the rest will be raised from local budgets, according to the regional military administration.
The list of facilities includes:
- 11 educational institutions where shelters are to be built;
- 4 healthcare facilities that will have safe conditions for doctors and patients;
- infrastructure projects to restore water supply and sewerage.
Also, according to the JMA, special attention is paid to facilities located near the contact line and preschools to launch mixed-format education.
As of the end of 2024, almost 4,900 facilities have been restored in the liberated territories of Kherson region, including residential buildings, schools, hospitals and critical infrastructure.
