Law enforcement officers search the head of the Chornomorka community, Dmytrenko: residents of the community came out to protest

Andrii Dmytrenko, the head of the Black Sea community in Mykolaiv Oblast, is being searched. More than 200 residents of UTC gathered near the village council, where, according to them, the official is being held.

At the same time, Andrii Dmytrenko published a post on his Facebook page in which he stated that law enforcement authorities allegedly illegally detained him and two other employees in the administrative building for more than a day. The official did not disclose the reasons for the search and detention.

Local residents surrounded the administrative building because they consider searches of the head of the community illegal and thus want to support the official.

The press service of the police of Mykolaiv region NikVesti confirmed that investigative actions are being carried out on the spot under Part 4 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. According to law enforcement officers, the case concerns the illegal conclusion of public contracts by the head of the community outside the ProZorro public procurement system. The amount of damages is being determined.

We will remind you that law enforcement officers recently opened proceedings against the mayor of Ochakiv, Serhii Bychkov, in whom the NACP previously found signs of illegal enrichment.
