The mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, said that financial assistance for the Vodokanal and Oblteploenergo in 2024 depends on state subsidies for the city.
He said this in a comment to the correspondent of «NikVesti».
— This, again, will depend on the adopted budget, the figures presented to us and the subventions that are planned to be added to the local budget as compensation. But yes, we will have to lay down additional funds for Mykolaivvoblteploenergo, Mykolaivvodokanal, and our transport companies for the transportation of privileged sections of the population, — said Oleksandr Sienkevych.
We remind you that Mykolaivvoblteploenergo will start the heating season with debts. The company owes Naftogaz 450 million hryvnias. At the same time, CE still has not received 455 million hryvnias of compensation from the state budget for the difference between the economically justified and the current heating tariff.
At the same time, as of August 2023, Mykolaiv residents already owe almost 237 million hryvnias for water supply and drainage services.
