In Mykolaiv, they are planning to overhaul the educational building of the Mykolaiv Polytechnic Vocational College. The works will cost almost 25 million hryvnias.

This is evidenced by the data of the public procurement system ProZorro, NikVesti reports.

The client of the works is the Department of Town Planning, Architecture, Capital Construction and Support of Development Projects of Mykolaiv Oblast.

For 25 million 963 thousand hryvnias, the contractor must dismantle the destroyed part of the building: walls, roof and partitions. All construction waste must also be removed. After that, the walls of the four floors, the stairwells, the roof will be completely rebuilt, and the exterior and interior finishing works will be completed. In addition, all communications will be replaced, the toilets will be equipped with the necessary equipment for people with reduced mobility. Work with heating, lighting, and ventilation systems is also planned. Construction should be completed by the end of 2024.

The contractor will be chosen at the auction on December 11.

Previously, the Mykolaiv Polytechnic Vocational College ordered a technical inspection of the load-bearing structures of one of the educational buildings, which was fired upon by Russian troops in the fall of 2022. The cost of services is 95,942 hryvnias.

We will remind that the Russians shelled the college on the night of November 1. Three rockets hit the territory. As a result of shelling, the 4-story college building was partially destroyed.

On the same night, the occupiers hit the historic building of the Mykolaiv Arkas Lyceum with S-300 missiles (the former First Ukrainian Gymnasium named after Mykola Arkas, — note).

In addition, hits were recorded in the city center in residential quarters. After the shelling, a fire broke out in one of the locations.
