As of May of this year, Mykolaiv enterprises that worked during the war owed their employees 18.7 million hryvnias in wages.
This is stated in the Program of Economic and Social Development of Mykolaiv for 2024-2026, writes NikVesti.
These funds are to be paid to 878 employees, the average amount of debt per employee was 21.4 thousand hryvnias.
State enterprises owed 12.1 million hryvnias: Southern Production and Technical Enterprise (6.1 million hryvnias), Mykolaiv Aircraft Repair Plant Narp (4.5 million hryvnias) and Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Plant (1.4 million hryvnias).
Another 5.4 million hryvnias were owed to their employees by the municipal enterprises of the city: Farmatsia (5.3 million hryvnias) and the Center for Socially Significant Diseases (51 thousand hryvnias).
At the same time, private enterprises of the city owed 1.2 million hryvnias.
However, as of May 30, the total debt decreased to 14.1 million hryvnias. The funds were paid to the employees of the state-owned enterprise Mykolaiv Aircraft Repair Plant Narp and the utility company Center for Socially Significant Diseases of the city council.
«The main reasons for arrears in salary payments remain the lack of orders and, as a result, the volume of work,» the Program says.
It will be recalled that the residents of Mykolaiv owed more than 224 million hryvnias for heating to Mykolaivvoblteploenerho, and almost 237 million hryvnias to Mykolaivvodokanal.
