Ukrainians paid ₴1 trillion in taxes in 2024

Revenues to the general fund of the state budget from the State Tax Service exceeded ₴1 trillion in 2024.
This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
Among the payments:
- ₴270.8 billion — corporate income tax;
- ₴267.8 billion — value added tax (₴425.0 billion collected, ₴157.2 billion refunded);
- ₴233.6 billion — personal income tax and military duty;
- ₴133.5 billion — excise tax;
- ₴51.8 billion — rent.
Revenues from the State Customs Service amounted to approximately ₴600 billion.
In addition, in 2024, the general fund of the state budget received ₴453.6 billion in international grant aid.
As a reminder, on Thursday, 10 October, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed in the second reading the draft law №11416d on tax increases. Almost all MPs from Mykolaiv region supported this decision.
It was also reported that from 1 January, individual entrepreneurs will have to pay higher taxes.
