In Voznesensk, a number of houses were flooded due to the lack of drains on the renovated street for ₴5.4 million

In Voznesensk, residents of buildings on Krym-Kavkaz Street complained about the quality of the repair work on Karpenko Lane, where drains were not installed and because of this, during a downpour, streams of water flooded yards and gardens.

In the Facebook group «Voznesensk — the city of dreams», Tetyana Kozhuharenko published a video of how her yard was flooded during the rain.

«This is me standing on the threshold of my house and watching how all these stones, rubble and sand, together with water, fall into my yard and my house from the road that you just repaired along Karpenko Street, but you forgot to make drains...houses along Krym-Kavkaz street 95 to 103 washes away... Now I will be afraid of the rain, so that we are not completely washed away,» — the woman complained.

Krym-Kavkaz Street has a slope, so water flows do not have time to soak into the ground. Tetyana Kozhuharenko showed what the street turned into after the rain.

As indicated in the ProZorro public procurement system, DORBUD 777 LLC is engaged in the repair of Karpenka Lane in Voznesensk. The initial price of capital repairs was set at 5.7 million hryvnias, but the contractor undertook to complete the work for 5 million 450 thousand hryvnias. It is also worth noting that this was the most expensive tender offer. The Department of Housing and Communal Economy and Capital Construction of the Voznesensk City Council refused the companies that offered a much lower price.

The contract with «DORBUD 777» LLC was signed on October 3. Road workers have to complete the work by December 15, so it is possible that the drains have not been installed in time.

Earlier it was reported that a tender for capital repairs of the building of the social services center was announced in Voznesensk in the amount of 4 million 889 thousand hryvnias.
