On the morning of October 1, Russian troops attacked the market in the Tsentralnyi district of Kherson.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional state administration, at least eight victims are currently known.

«The occupiers attacked the market in the center of Kherson. Trading points where people from Kherson bought or sold products in the morning came under attack. Previously, five people were killed, three more were injured,» writes the head of the Kherson RMA.

Later, the head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko, reported that four wounded people had already been taken to the hospital.

«Women aged 68, 65 and 33 and a 65-year-old man were hospitalized. All of them had blast injuries and shrapnel injuries. At the time of the enemy attack, they were outside. The bodies of the three victims were taken to the forensic medical examination office,» he writes.
