Rocket attack on Izyum: death toll rises to six

The death toll from the Russian ballistic missile strike on Izium has risen to six. Today, 5 February, a 61-year-old man died in hospital after doctors fought for his life for 24 hours.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, there are children among the victims.
«Among the injured: a girl of 15 years old in fair condition. After receiving medical care, she is at home with her parents. A 6-year-old boy is in a medical facility with his mother. A girl of 14 years old is in serious condition, she is in a medical institution», he wrote.
He noted that the city is continuing to deal with the consequences of the missile attack. In total, three apartment buildings, more than ten private homes and seven vehicles were damaged. The city council building was partially destroyed and over 800 windows were smashed.
«We have set up support points for the victims: we provide humanitarian aid, including medicines, food and hygiene kits. We also provide psychological and legal support. We have engaged several dozen volunteers who work as part of rapid response teams and representatives of charitable organisations,» he said.

As a reminder, on Tuesday, 4 February, Russian troops attacked the town of Izium in the Kharkiv region. Administrative buildings were partially destroyed and a five-storey residential building was damaged.
