Air defense forces destroyed 26 out of 28 enemy drones

On the night of March 28, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 28 attack drones of the Shahed 136/131 type. Forces and means of air defense of Ukraine destroyed 26 drones.

This was announced by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykola Oleshchuk.

It is noted that the Russians launched 28 attack drones from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation and from Cape Chauda, which is in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The attack was repulsed by anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups and means of radio-electronic warfare of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Thus, it was possible to destroy 26 «Shakheds» within the Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.

In addition, the enemy also attacked Ukraine with missiles. The occupiers fired three Kh-22 cruise missiles, an Kh-31P anti-radar missile from the Black Sea, and an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile from Donetsk region.

It will be recalled that the shelling of Mykolaiv took place in the afternoon of March 21 at around 2:25 p.m. Russian troops launched a missile attack on an object of industrial infrastructure. As a result of the impact, one woman died, and 10 people were injured.
