USAID will hand over 15 generators for the operation of utility companies in Mykolaiv

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will hand over 15 generators for the operation of four utility companies in Mykolaiv.
This was discussed on August 14 during an online meeting of the executive committee of the city council, NikVesti writes.
The total cost of these generators is 1.8 million hryvnias. They will be sent to the following city enterprises:
- Mykolaivoblteploenergo — 8 generators, worth 996.7 thousand hryvnias;
- Mykolaivelectrotrans — 3 generators, worth 373.7 thousand hryvnias;
- Mykolaivvodokanal — 2 generators, worth 249.1 thousand hryvnias;
- State self-supporting site of mechanization of construction — 2 generators, worth 249.1 thousand hryvnias.
As of October 2023, it was known that Mykolaiv utility companies stocked up with 327 generators in case of a blackout. Mykolayivoblteploenergo has the largest number of such devices.
At the same time, co-owners of apartment buildings in Mykolaiv are partially compensated for the cost of energy generators and portable power plants that were purchased during the last heating season.
