Google corrected an error with maps and pictures of Ukrainian military facilities

Google has removed pictures of Ukrainians from its maps military facilities and systems.

This was reported by Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Combating Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

He noted that from now on, maps will not be displayed there.

«Google has fixed the situation with maps. Military facilities and systems are no longer displayed. In the future, too, everything will be ok,» Kovalenko wrote.

Earlier, the Google company posted updated images on maps, on which it disclosed the location of Ukrainian military systems.

The Ukrainian side immediately submitted a request for correction to the company, but Google could not fix it because of the weekend. Later, company representatives reported that they are working on correcting the situation.
