Sienkevych told where they plan to arrange the Alley of memory of the defending soldiers in Mykolaiv

The Mykolaiv City Council has already decided on the place where the Alley of Memory of the Defenders of Ukraine will be arranged. It is planned to be placed on the Kherson highway Street, opposite the Mykolaiv Zoo.
The mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkevych told about this in a comment to «NikVesti».
He also informed that a sketch of the future memorial has already been developed today. It will soon be presented to the townspeople.
— In the near future, the Department of Culture will show this sketch, and the people of Mykolaiv will be able to propose some changes or ideas, — Oleksandr Sienkevych said.
As you know, the Alley of Memory is planned to be built in 2024. The administration proposes to install digital monuments to fallen soldiers, where you can learn about the history of the fallen heroes by scanning the QR code on the memorial boards.
We remind, on October 3, in one of the Mykolaiv lyceums, the opening of the «Kalynova Alley of Memory» was held in honor of the hero graduates who died during the full-scale war.
Recently, on the Day of Defenders, Mykolaiv residents and military personnel who participated in the defense of the city at the beginning of the full-scale war were awarded. For their courage, loyalty and indomitable will, more than 70 people received the award «For the defense of Mykolaiv».
It should be noted that on September 15, the presentation of the medal «For the defense of Mykolaiv» took place. 7 Mykolaiv artists, sculptors and heraldists took part in the development of the award sketch. Among all proposals, a sketch by the sculptor Yaroslav Ryasnyanskyy was chosen.
