More than ₴15.3 million will be spent on street lighting in Mykolaiv in six months

Street lighting in Mykolayiv during six months of 2024 will cost more than 15.3 million hryvnias.

This is evidenced by the data of the electronic procurement system ProZorro, writes NikVesti.

The customer is the public utility enterprise, the Mykolayiv City Council's construction mechanization department. Currently, the company has concluded a contract with the Mykolayiv Electric Supply Company for the supply of electricity for outdoor lighting facilities in the Varvarivka microdistrict, Velyka and Mala Korenykha settlements. The cost of the service was 2 million 588 thousand hryvnias.

At the same time, the company announced two more tenders for the supply of electricity: for Korabelnyi district (3 million 163 thousand hryvnias) and for the rest of Mykolaiv (9 million 560 thousand hryvnias).

The contractors will have to ensure the supply of electricity to various districts of Mykolaiv for six months — until June 30, 2024.

Street lighting in Mykolaiv

As you know, from the very beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the street lighting in Mykolaiv was turned off. It was restored only in January 2023.

After that, the director of the housing and communal services department of Mykolaiv, Dmytro Bezdolnyi, explained why there is no street lighting in some areas of the city.
