Poland raised its warplanes again because of the Russian attack on Ukraine this morning.
This was reported in the Operational Command of the Polish Army.
It was noted there that since the very morning there has been «intense activity» of Russian long-range aviation, which strikes targets, in particular, in the western territory of Ukraine. Because of this, the military warned that an increased level of noise is possible in the south-eastern part of Poland due to the passage of Polish and allied planes.
«All the necessary procedures to ensure the safety of Polish airspace have been initiated, and the Operational Command is constantly monitoring the situation,» the command emphasized.
The last time Poland raised its aircraft was on July 8, when the occupiers attacked the «Okhmatdyt» children's hospital in Kyiv.
On the morning of August 26, Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones. Explosions rang out in a number of Ukrainian cities, including Odesa, Kharkiv and Kyiv.
